A day in the life of our Software Engineer – Java DevOps:

● Resolve IT application-related incidents in a timely and efficient manner in line with Business requirements
● Undertake Incident diagnosis, implementing resolution and /or prevention measures as appropriate
● Document troubleshooting steps and service restoration details in issue tracking tool
● Ability to fix the production issues at the earliest with a possible workaround and reduce the business impact
● Prioritize and schedule assigned support activities and tasks
● Verify resolution with end-users and resolve assigned Incidents
● Monitor the availability, performance and throughput of supported IT applications and infrastructure
● Maintain IT application support technical documentation
● Administer master data management and data governance projects and ensure availability of the applications are maintained
● Administer MDM projects with blended onshore/offshore teams.
● Influence technology direction at the divisional or enterprise level based on broad expertise across multiple software platforms and technologies
● Must have strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) architectures and business processes
● Must have hands-on experience with IBM MDM Hub configurations – Data modelling & Data Mappings (Landing, staging and Base Objects), Data validation, Match and Merge rules, writing and customizing user exits, customizing/configuring PME applications
● Experience in integrating business application with IBM MDM hub using Batch process, DS UI, message queues.
● Performance tuning of Application, Database and IBM MDM platform
● Collaborate with various technical teams and business users for Development, QA, and Operations Support
● Minimum Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 – 5 years’ operational/technical experience
● Related work experience in the areas of Master Data Management, Data Governance working with data and databases, Including data profiling and analysis.
● Good hands-on with any MDM tool required Knowledge of Data Quality tool.
● Knowledge of any ETL Tool.
● Understanding of SOA, Data integration, Data Quality, data architecture and Master Data Management.
● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills
● Excellent data integration skills, understanding solutioning ETL and Data Quality components of MDM solutions
● Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities
● Ability to work on multiple tasks/opportunities concurrently
● Ability to excel in a performance-based environment

We want you to have:

● Minimum experience required would be 3-5 years in the relevant field.
● Experience on web services request using WSDL.
● Operating Systems: RHEL Linux, UNIX (HP-UX, Sun OS, AIX)
● Programming Languages: C#, C++, C, JAVA (Java required) Data Base: Oracle (PL/SQL), MSSQL, MAPR Hadoop
● ETL/DQ Tool: SSIS and MSSQL, Informatica Power Center, Datastage, IDQ MDM
● Tool: Any MDM, and IDD.
● Scripting & Middleware: ksh, bash, WAS, Weblogic, JBOSS, TOMCAT.
● Business analysis with experience in IBM MDM and with governance considerations
