A day in the life of our HR Coordinator:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in carrying out the human resource functions of the organization. The job involves the general functions of an HR professional from recruitment, onboarding to off-boarding.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Recruiting and Staffing
● Coordinate with hiring managers for manpower resourcing.
● Manage recruitment process of open and replacement positions.
● Keep records of recruitment processes and activities for regular audits.
● Participate in the selection of staff when appropriate.

2. Employee On-boarding, Needs Assessment and Training
● Administer induction program for new hires/employees.
● Conduct and report the 7, 30, 60 and 100 day connect with new hires. Suggest/recommend action points for improvement or resolving issues if any.
● Coordinate with the Training Department on the evaluation of all employees’ learning activities.
● Maintain training records of all employees, including skillsets and competencies.
● Assist with any training initiatives when required.

3. Performance Management
● Assist and coordinate with key stakeholders regarding the performance appraisals of employees.
● Summarize results and recommend action points when necessary.

4. Employee Relations
● Administer and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure effective, fair and consistent application throughout the organization.
● Ensure that the Employee Handbook is comprehensive and up to date; and employees are aware of the policies and procedures.
● Coordinate with key stakeholders on investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters.
● Provide advice and guidance on individual employee relations cases.
● Administer safety, recreation, health, wellness, and social welfare programs.

5. Off-Boarding
● Review and manage exit processes.

6. Other Functions
● Represent HR and participate in various internal groups and committees across the organization.
● Represent HR and participate in various external groups and associations to establish community and external relations.
● Manage the information held on the HR database and personnel files to ensure it is updated in a timely and accurate manner and complies with any legal or data protection laws.
● Undertake other tasks as agreed with the HR/Reporting Manager

We want you to have:

● Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Business Administration, Human Resource Management etc.
● 2 – 4 years’ experience in handling different facet of Human Resource such as Recruitment, Onboarding, Offboarding, Employee Relations, Performance Management etc.
● Excellent Time management skills
● Proficiency in English – Verbal and Written
